Access for Disabled and Persons Requiring Assistance

We have a limited number of spaces which we reserve for 'person's requiring assistance', this includes wheelchairs and infirm patrons and are located at the front (row B) of the auditorium. Should you require these seats, you must mention this to the Box Office when booking tickets so we can ensure everyone's seating requirements are met.

An accompanying adult ticket may also be purchased if assistance is required charged at 50% of an adult ticket price. There is lift access to the Gatehouse Theatre and ramped access to the MET Studio as well as adapted toilets.

Disabled badge holders can park outside the theatre in the lay-by on Market Street after 7.00pm everyday. Please leave access to Market Street for emergency service vehicles. No one is permitted to park in the bus stop at all.

Both theatres are equipped with an Infra-red hearing loop system to assist the hearing impaired. Receivers may be reserved in advance from the Box Office for use with or without hearing aids.

Seeing and hearing guide dogs are welcome.

We have a fully operational Defibrillator located on the ground floor and fully trained staff available should it be required.
